A lip augmentation, commonly referred to as lip filler is a procedure used to enhance the look of your natural lip. It is performed via a series of dermal filler injections in various places on your lip to achieve your desired look.
Many things can be achieved by this procedure including:
- Creating or replacing lost volume.
- Defining border
- Defining cupids bow
- Defining philtrum column
- Correcting asymmetry
A consultation must be performed, in order for us to discuss your desired look and how we can achieve this. Each individuals lips are different, 0.5ml may make a noticeable difference to one persons lips but also can be completely lost in another. A consultation for this treatment can be performed on the same day as your procedure.
How long does it take?
The procedure itself takes around 5 minutes.
What can I expect post procedure?
Swelling and bruising of this area is completely normal and can occur for up to 72 hours after. The full result will become noticeable after around 2-4 weeks.
How long does it last?
Lip fillers do not last forever, they last anything from 6-12 months dependant on lifestyle choices and patient specific factors. They will need topping up, typically anything from 3-6 months dependant on your desired volume and how long they have lasted. It may take a few appointments to reach your end result, be it more volume or to correct asymmetry. Please note that in some cases, asymmetry may not ever be fully corrected as we can only enhance your natural features, not completely change them.
How much does it cost?
0.5ml – £160
1ml – £250
1.5ml – £300
Combination treatment discount is available but is patient specific and will be discussed during a consultation.
